Studio Dafi Reis Doron Cad Weaving is a new material that brings a twist to traditional Weaving Ditional techniques. It is made by identical pieces of leather and veneer that glued together in a crisscross manner to form a block. The block is then programmed in 3D computer software to find the right pattern and shape and cut in a CNC machine to create the curved surface, revealing a different pattern in each cut. The use of the new semi fabric material on thelid of the wooden jars takes inspiration from classic kitchen jars with patchwork fabric covers. The project was first developed for Fendi and launched in the store in London’s Sloane Square. The CAD Weaving Jars are available in two styles, each offered in a choice of ash wood with brown, gray, and beige leather or walnut wood with brown, navy, and blue leather. http://www.dafireisdoron.com
Studio Dafi Reis Doron 75% control is an innovative technology to create upholstered furniture in industry. The stool is made by casting polyurethane foam in an open mold with a wooden structure located inside. As a result of a chemical reaction, the foam expands towards the structure and creates a surprising shape with a top surface that is both amorphous, from the free rise of the foam, and accurate, from the precise location of the structure. http://www.dafireisdoron.com

JOHNHOU SMAND An esteemed interior designer we work with on cutting edge projects, Nicole Hollis, envisioned a monumental piece for guests at HALL Winery in California and she knew the only person for the job was JOHNHOU SMAND. Looking for a 43 foot table that mimiced a solid 1/2 log, she approached us with an open mind on how the concept could become reality. The result is a feat of organic engineering that marries a hand crafted log to glass side panels on a blackened steel fin base. The union of the elements is a masterful trompe l’oeil that yields the ultimate communal table for visitors to gather round, imbibe, and converse. Dimensions: 516 x 64 x 30 inches http://www.johnhoushmand.com

THE BUTCHER'S FURNITURE Back when stories were authentic, when things were made by hand,
when nostalgia was a thing of the present, is where it all starts.
That’s what the Butcher’s Furniture concept is based on, sawn, hand sanded and polished.
We’re all about restoring the beauty of simplicity.
About preserving tradition but giving it a new interpretation.
About respecting wood, metal, glass, stone… About using these raw materials,
giving them a contemporary twist and crafting them into a beginning of a story.
A story that anyone can continue to create in his or her own home.

Fondation Louis Vuitton The Fondation Louis Vuitton opened in late October 2014 in Paris. This extraordinary space for art and culture was conceived by architect Frank Gehry as a vessel whose sails soar amidst the trees of the Bois de Boulogne. The building’s construction represents unprecedented technological challenges.
The building counts twelve immense glass sails, joining a longstanding tradition of glass architecture in Paris, including the Grand Palais. Frank Gehry also drew inspiration from the Palais d’Hiver and the Palmarium, two glass and steel structures that graced the Jardin d’Acclimatation in the 19th century, bringing Parisians opportunities for discovery and elegant promenades. http://www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr/en.html
